I met Ms. Jen Fuller (James) when my son was in her Behavioral class. She was amazing with him and the other kids and we immediately started to see progress with him. She easily found his weaknesses and his strengths and was able to push him in those areas and help him gain strength in his weak areas. He immediately started socializing more, opening up with the adults, bonding with Ms. Jen and advocating for himself. He was in her class for about 3 years. Because of Ms. Jen’s participation in his life he is a successful high school student, involved in regular activities, socializing and having close friendships with peers and able to adjust to different situations with ease. She helped us and worked with us as a team to raise our son. Not just, educate him, but raise him, make him a better person- a successful person in life. It definitely takes a village and we were blessed to have her as part of our team.

Jennifer James is absolutely amazing!  It has been years since my child has been in her care, and I am still profoundly struck by the positive impact that she has had on my child.  There were literally no other choices for my child besides residential treatment.  School was such a tremendous source of stress and anxiety for my child that he could not function at all in a regular education setting.  My son went from being curled up in the fetal position in the back corner of the classroom to a blossoming ray of hope and inspiration.  I owe this transformation directly to her, Miss Jen.  I would strongly encourage anyone with an autistic or emotionally disturbed child to seek her help immediately as she is invaluable in helping to navigate the IEP, and the school systems that are more interested in their budget than helping the very people that need them most.

Ms. Jen has really played a pivotal role in our son’s first grade experience. After her visit to our house to talk about how he was doing and some of the things we could do to help him, things really turned around for me as a parent. He listened and cooperated much better after that. I got the feeling that he ‘got it’ after that. I’m still very thankful that she did come to our home because she did it voluntarily and stayed for a couple of hours after a long day at work and that shows how dedicated she was to him.

Jennifer Fuller (James) was a co-worker and my sons’ teacher for many years! My son was in an SIED classroom in elementary as he was not able to be successful in a typical classroom. Ms. Fuller is still to this day one of his two favorite teachers. She helped him accomplish academic goals as well as social, behavioral, and emotional goals. As a parent, she gave me advice that I asked for as if my son were her own! She is very positive and I can tell you without a doubt, as I attended many of her staff trainings as a co-worker, she is very passionate and focused on serving children with typical, special and severe needs!
